Safety Instructions:

Careful consideration was given to every aspect of the Lalapanzi Bedô design, especially the safety features of our beds. As parents, we know that infants need a great deal of care and protection. The following safety instructions are general guidelines and not a substitute for parental supervision and presence.

bullet

All Lalapanzi Beds should be used as temporary beds and should not replace your infant's crib as a permanent sleeping place

bullet

ALWAYS keep your Lalapanzi Bedô on a safe surface such as in your child's crib or on the floor near you.

bullet

The bed should always be placed on a firm, flat surface. Never place it near the fireplace or open flames.

bullet

It is unsafe to carry your child in a Lalapanzi Bedô.

bullet

NEVER place the bed near windows, draperies, blinds or wall mounted decorative accessories with long cords.

bullet

Special care should be used with older babies that are can pull themselves up, sit up or crawl. Please always keep your Lalapanzi Bedô close by while your child is sleeping/ playing in it.

bullet

ONLY use Lalapanzi Bedô sheets/ mattress covers that fit securely over the mattress and wrap around the mattress corners. Do not use other sheets that do not have a snug fit.

bullet

The Lalapanzi Bedô should serve as a temporary travel bed for your infant, not a permanent sleeping solution.

bullet

Normal, healthy infants should ALWAYS sleep on their backs unless otherwise advised by a pediatrician.

bullet

Only a fitted sheet, mattress pad, and/or waterproof pad should be used under baby.

bullet

Remove pillows, quilts, comforters, sheepskins, pillow-like stuffed toys, and other pillow-like products from the bed.

bullet

Cover baby with a thin covering, such as a crib blanket, receiving blanket or other blankets specifically designed for infants, only reaching as far as baby's chest, and tuck the covering around the crib mattress. For newborns, consider swaddling.

bullet

Do not overdress your baby. Consider using a sleeper or other sleep clothing as an alternative to any covering.

bullet

Remove rattles, squeeze toys, teethers, plush toys and other items from the bed when baby is sleeping
